Members with their adult guests are invited to attend a confirmed Seating Preview Screening of: BIRTH OF A NATION from: Fox Searchlight and Allied Integrated Marketing.

Date: Wednesday September 14th.

Arrival Time: 6:00 p.m. sharp for the 7:00 p.m. Screening. No one arriving at 6:30 can be guaranteed seating.

Cinema: AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 Public Cinema

Address: 890 Broadway, NYC 10003.  (Subway: Union Square Station and walk across)

Check in: Check in with Phyllis Bishop only at the lobby desk inside the Cinema.

Synopsis: Set against the antebellum South, THE BIRTH OF A NATION follows Nat Turner (Nate Parker), a literate slave and preacher, whose financially strained owner, Samuel Turner (Armie Hammer), accepts an offer to use Nat's preaching to subdue unruly slaves. As he witnesses countless atrocities - against himself and his fellow slaves - Nat orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom. Written by Fox Searchlight Pictures
