Mark Lieberman - Creator and Executive Producer, "Live from the Artists Den" (currently airing Fridays at 9:30 PM on WNET channel 13 and Saturdays at 10:30 PM on WLIW channel 21)
Join us for coffee and conversation with Mark Lieberman who will discuss "Who We Are, What We Did and How We Did It."
The Artists Den started as a hobby/passion with a concert in Mr. Lieberman's living room for a few friends as invited guests and now uses venues including the diamond floor at Tiffany's, a 1930s silent movie theater, the Masonic Hall Grand Lodge of New York, a former Archdiocese Cathedral and the Park Avenue Armory. "Live from the Artists Den" launched on U.S. Public Television in 2009 and has since expanded with international distribution to A&E in Europe, Turner Broadcasting in Latin America, and multiple online outlets. The concerts are "live" by invitation only and some become CDs and DVDs. Musicians who have participated include Ringo Starr, K.T. Turnstall, The Black Crowes and Alanis Morrissette. The series has been nominated for three New York Emmy® Awards.
