NY NATAS Members are invited to attend this exclusive event:

Sorella Per Scelta

&

From Italy to the Global Market

Please join us at a preview of Sorella Per Scelta (Sisters By Choice) an Italian television series located in a magical seaside village, Cariati, in southern Italy.

Co-creators Louisa Burns-Bisogno and Manuela Metri, who also directed, will share the challenges of bringing the story from page to pilot.

Cinematographer, Blasco Giurato, winner of an Academy Award for Cinema Paradiso captures the beauty of the passionate south while following the zany antics of three menopausal sisters, separated in early childhood, brought together by the condition of their father’s will.

An obnoxious seagull narrates their efforts to fix the abandoned villa so they can sell it while being opposed by local fisherman, a wicked step-mother and a black marketer in antiquities.

Ellen Muir, who was an esteemed lifetime member,
originally produced the stage reading for NY NATAS in the
"Arlene Dahl Play Reading Series at HBO."

Following the preview and a brief Q&A session,
Georges Leclere will lead a discussion:
