Synopsis: New Yorker Harvey Shine (Dustin Hoffman) is on the verge of losing his dead-end job as a jingle writer. Arriving in London for his daughter’s (Liane Balaban) wedding, Harvey learns that his daughter has chosen her stepfather (James Brolin) to walk her down the aisle. Drowning his sorrows at the airport bar, Harvey strikes up a conversation with Kate (Emma Thompson). Film opens in New York and Los Angeles on December 25, 2008.
