The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and New Generation Films proudly invite you to the pre-screening of the newly-produced feature film with the working title “Oy Vey! My Son is Gay!” on October 5th at 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM at NY NATAS, 1375 Broadway, Suite 2103, New York, NY 10018.
 
“Oy Vey! My Son is Gay” is a heartwarming, inspirational family comedy.  It is about how far we have come, and yet how far we still have to go.
 
The film’s accomplished cast stars Golden Globe, Emmy® and Tony Award nominee Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek, Carmen Electra, Vincent Pastore, Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, and Emmy® Award winner Jai Rodriguez.
 
A number of talented individuals were involved in the making of this film, including Emmy® Award-winning comedian/writer Bruce Vilanch; Grammy Award-winning composer Desmond Child (numerous hits for KISS, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Michael Bolton, and Ricky Martin, including “Livin’ La Vida Loca”); and award-winning producer/director Evgeny Afineevsky. Last year “Oy Vey! My Son is Gay!” was honored with Best Script awards from the 41st Houston World Festival and the Monaco Film Festival.
 
The movie just had its very successful world premiere at the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival as an official selection in the First Films World Competition.
