Chris Wedge: 25 Light Years from TRON

Please join us for "25 Light Years from TRON," a look at the past, present and future of digital animation with Academy Award winner Chris Wedge. Chris's deep involvement and contributions to both the technical and the creative aspects of animation are legendary. He has been an animation supervisor, writer, director and/or producer on such films as TRON, Joe's Apartment, Bunny, Ice Age and Ice Age: The Meltdown, Robots, and the forthcoming Horton Hears A Who.  Blue Sky Studios, the company he co-founded in 1987, has become the major player for 3D animation on the East Coast.

Chris will screen excerpts from his work and offer insights into the business, the technology, and the art of digital animation. This will be an inspiring evening with one of New York's most significant figures in CGI.

Chris Wedge is an Academy Award winner and Co-founder of Blue Sky Studios - http://www.blueskystudios.com.
