 mbers to its special preview for Revolution of the Eye: Modern Art and the
  Birth of American Television.\nRevolution of the Eye: Modern Art and the 
 Birth of American Television is the first exhibition to explore how avant-
 garde art influenced and shaped the look and content of network television
  in its formative years, from the late-1940s to the mid-1970s. Highlightin
 g the visual revolution ushered in by early American television and modern
 ist art and design of the period, the show features fine art and graphic d
 esign, including works by Saul Bass, Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Geo
 rgia O&rsquo\;Keeffe, Roy Lichtenstein, Eero Saarinen, Ben Shahn, Frank St
 ella, and Andy Warhol, as well as ephemera, television memorabilia, and cl
 ips from film and television, including Batman, The Ed Sullivan Show, The 
 Ernie Kovacs Show, Rowan and Martin&rsquo\;s Laugh-In and The Twilight Zon
 e. \nThe exhibition is organized by Maurice Berger, NATAS member and Emmy&
 reg\; Award nominee, for the Jewish Museum, New York, and the Center for A
