 \n		One of the world&#39\;s greatest museums, the Hermitage, in St. Peters
 burg, Russia, is the home of countless masterpieces of Western and Eastern
  art. For those who may not as yet had the opportunity to go to the Hermit
 age, this will be a special tour of this great art collection rarely, if e
 ver, before exhibited in the U.S. &quot\;HM&quot\; is a series of 18 half-
 hour programs from the most complete global history of art ever produced. 
  At tonight&rsquo\;s Meet the Filmmaker, 2 of the 18 programs in this seri
 es will be shown:  &quot\;The Road To Impressionism--19th Century France&q
 uot\;, and &quot\;Modernism: Matisse, Picasso and other 20th Century Paint
 ers&quot\;.  &quot\;The Road To Impressionism&quot\; includes paintings by
  Monet, Renoir, Pissaro and Degas.  &quot\;Modernism...&quot\; includes th
 e Post-Impressionist painters Van Gogh, Cezanne and Gauguin as well as mas
 terpieces of Matisse and Picasso.  The series has been a huge hit on many 
 U.S. PBS stations from coast-to-coast, and is currently showing weekly in 
 New York on WLIW-TV, and also on PBS New Jersey Television/NJTV. Co-Execut
 ive Producer Chertok will present a &quot\;sample&quot\; of the series--ju
 st 2 of them--together with an interesting backstory of how this project c
 ame to be produced, and how his company, Quartet International, Inc. succe

 e Chan&quot\; documentary that originally premiered at the Museum Of Moder
 n Art and is about Hollywood&#39\;s famous detective who starred in 46 fil
 ms.  Chertok is the President of Quartet International, Inc. a worldwide p
 roduction and distribution company\; Co-Chair of the Scholarship &amp\; Ed
 ucation Committee of the New York Chapter\; a former NATAS National Truste
 e\; and an instructor for his &quot\;The Business Of Television&quot\; sem
