From before 9:30 in the morning until well aft er half-past-eleven, a small group of NY NATAS members (Al Primo, creator of &ldquo\;Eyewitness News,&rdquo\; and NY NATAS treasurer Chris Pizzurro among them) had the rare privilege of seeing and hearing Pat Cooper, the k ing of comedy that almost no longer exists. He was funny &ndash\; two hour s of continuous laughing funny &ndash\; no nastiness or sarcasm, no gratui tous 4 or 5 letter words or sexual innuendo, but a kind of gentle sadness underneath the spontaneous laughter. Pat, born Pasquale Caputo, will be 82 years old next July. He comes from the world of Dean Martin, George Burns , Milton Berle and Henry Youngman &ndash\; with the energy of a 25-year-ol d which was his age at the time he was the opening act for Frank Sinatra.
