 ted by Dustin Hoffman, &ldquo\;VISUAL ACOUSTICS&rdquo\; celebrates the lif
 e and career of Julius Shulman, the world&rsquo\;s greatest architectural 
 photographer, whose images brought modern architecture to the American mai
 nstream. Shulman, who passed away in 2009, captured the work of nearly eve
 ry major modern and progressive architect since the 1930s including Frank 
 Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, John Lautner, and Frank Gehry. His images ep
 itomized the singular beauty of Southern California&rsquo\;s modernist mov
 ement and brought its iconic structures to the attention of the general pu
 blic. This unique film is both a testament to the evolution of modern arch
 itecture and a joyful portrait of the magnetic, whip-smart gentleman who c
 hronicled it with his unforgettable images.  Visual Acoustics garnered mul
 tiple Outstanding Achievement and Best Documentary awards in its festival 
 run including the Mercedes Benz Audience Award for Best Documentary at the
  Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Austi
 n Film Festival, the Grand Jury Prize at the Lonestar International Film F
 estival, and Outstanding Achievement in Documentary Filmmaking from the Ne
 wport Beach Film Festival.  In addition, the film screened with much accla
 im at the Los Angeles Film Festival (world premiere), Festival Internation
 al Du Film Sur L&rsquo\;Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Kimbell Art
  Museum, Apple World Headquarters (Cupertino), along with various festival
 s and museums around the globe. Visual Acoustics was distributed by Arthou
 se Films in the U.S. and ran in theaters from October 2009 &ndash\; March 
 2010. The film currently screens on Sundance Channel and is available on N
 etflix, Amazon, and iTunes.\n\nUpon settling in Los Angeles, Eric Bricker 
 , Producer/Director, turned his focus toward film and television productio
 n where he worked with such notable talent as Jerry Seinfeld and Alec Bald
 win. In addition, he explored his affinity for playing percussion with the
  likes of Lula &amp\; Afro-Brasil and Perry Farrell at Coachella Festival.
  It was during this period that Eric decided to produce and direct his own
  film projects.  It was in 1999 when in need of vintage photos of San Fran
 cisco that Eric was led to produce and direct VISUAL ACOUSTICS. Lisa Hughe
 s, founder and principal of Out of the Box Productions, was the Executive 
 Producer of the award winning documentary film, narrated by Dustin Hoffman
 . Lisa also produced MR. GEHRY GOES TO WASHINGTON, a short film on the Fra
 nk Gehry design for the Corcoran Gallery of Art that was the recipient of 
 an NEA grant and was the centerpiece of the Corcoran Gallery&#39\;s exhibi
