MOBILE VIDEO: BIG PICTURES COME TO THE THIRD SCREEN

From news clips to animation, from short films to user-generated content, video is rapidly gaining its share of the content that mobile subscribers are watching on their handsets. From independent mobile films backed by the Sundance Institute to Verizons agreement with YouTube, the mobile consumer has more than ringtones, ringbacks, wallpapers, and games on their mobile device. How are consumers accessing this content, and how are carriers and producers making the deals that lead to viewing on the third-screen?

Jeffs leadership and vision helped establish the digital services industry more than a decade ago, and he brings to his new firm, Bond Art & Science, an unmatched mix of experience, passion and skill.  Jeffs recent work has been focused on running Studio Holdings, which manages a range of investments and online entertainment properties.  Previously, as Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of Razorfish, Jeff grew the company from 2 to 2,500 employees with 15 offices in 9 countries; increased revenue 54,000% during 23 consecutive quarters of profitable growth; and led an IPO that raised $55m and 25 mergers/acquisitions/buyouts over a five-year period.  He is Co-Chair of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council East, and a frequent lecturer and speaker, with appearances on CNBC, CNN, 20/20 and 60 Minutes among others. His honors include Ernst&Youngs Entrepreneur of the Year, Crains 40 Under 40.
