Mr. Dilenschneider formed The Dilenschneider Group in October 1991 after nearly 25 years at Hill and Knowlton, Inc., (public relations) serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for the last five. Experienced in a number of communications disciplines, he is frequently called upon by the media to provide commentary and strategic public relations insights on major news stories and has counseled major corporations, professional groups, trade associations, educational institutions, and assisted clients in dealings with regulatory agencies, labor unions, consumer groups and minorities, among others.
His board memberships include the Center for Strategic and International Studies, The Bretton Woods Committee, the Council on Foreign Relations, the U.S.-Japan Business Council, the Economics Clubs of New York and Chicago, the Florida Council of 100, the Public Relations Society of America and the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is widely published having authored eight books.
